HTC Desire Eye

The latest phone to be released from HTC is the Desire Eye. We don't know much about it yet, but what we do know is that it is sure to bit a big hit with selfie fans.

Boasting not only a 13mp camera at the rear but also has the same amount of mega pixels in the front, a first in smartphone history. They aren't exactly identical, the front one offering an f/2.2 and 22mm lens while the back being slightly better with an f/2.0 and a 28mm lens. However both offer a dual LED flash and 1080p full HD video recording!

The camera's are the most innovative features here but the Desire Eye also possesses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.3 GHz quad-core processor, a 5.2 inch screen, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage with the capability of adding an extra 128GB SD card. And like other recent releases from HTC it has the HTC BoomSound front facing speaker for the optimum sound experience. Lastly this impressive new smartphone promises 20 hours talk time and a standby time of up to 538 hours for 3G.

Judging by first impressions it seems like the HTC Desire Eye is going to be a top of the range, impressive piece of kit. Price and release times have yet to be announced but we can't wait until this device goes on sale!
